G is for GIGGLE

Easton was happy to have more time with Mom and Dad this week.  Due to the storm, we didn't work full days.  Easton went to daycare each day, but arrived late and left early.  I think he was happy about that :)

On another note, Easton went back to the Doctor on Tuesday this week.  I noticed in the morning he had discharge coming from his ear, to the point where you couldn't even see his ear hole! We wiped it out, and off to daycare he went!  I called the doctor to see if I should be concerned, and through discussion it was decided he needed to see a specialist.  Luckily for us, the ENT doctor was in Rock Rapids that day, so he was seen by Dr. Jensen!  He still has a double ear infection, so was prescribed an even stronger antibiotic and given ear drops.  His ear drum did burst which is why the discharge :( He will be re-checked in two weeks.  If he still has an infection, most likely we will schedule surgery for tubes.  The only good thing through all of this, Easton has been a champ! He's still his happy-go-lucky self, and you'd never know he has an infection!  We hope these meds cure it this time, and he's free and clear of an infection on April 22nd!
