Christmas Card photo shoot

I had many great ideas, but of course they don't usually work out.  I wanted to get a picture of Easton and Nelli, but trying to get both of them in the same spot at the same time was harder than I thought it would be! Maybe if Mark would have been there to help me, but with the weather and Easton's schedule I did this on a Saturday morning, so he was at work.  Again, all you need is a couple and I guess that's just what I got :)

Happy Thanksgiving!

I'm so thankful for so many things, but most of all my family & friends.  I'm also thankful this year for a healthy pregnancy!  I can't complain, I've been feeling pretty good, of course tired, but no other complaints.  I have a great husband that helps out when I hit the hay by 8:00 PM, glad he understand "I'm making a baby in here"! I say that quite often ;)
This year we were blessed to be with both our families on this holiday.  Mark's parents came to town.  We spent the day at my brother James' house with my immediate family, my Grandma Joan and Aunt & Uncle from Rochester, MN.  It was a great day, full of wonderful food, and of course SHOPPING!  The ladies left around 7:30 PM that night, and returned by 2:30 AM.  It was a lot of fun, and we got some really good deals!

First Hair cut

It didn't take long, just a couple hairs off the back :) We had the pleasure of our friend Dayna doing it one night at Todd & Stacy's house!  It was fast and painless.  But once he figured out we were messing around by his ears, it was over. 

Sledding- Easton's first!

We got our first snow, and I had to break out the sled.  The temps were just right, and Easton really enjoyed it!  He didn't last long, as he kept falling off.  I found another sled that will work so much better, but we haven't been able to take it out yet.  It's been too cold, but we have plenty of snow! It will definitely be a white Christmas this year :)

Hawkeye Game- weekend away for Mommy & Daddy!!

Mark and I had our first weekend away from Easton, and I think everyone did well!  We headed to Iowa City to a Hawkeye game with my parents and James, Cori & Cameron.  We saw Caleb's bachelor pad, and took in the tailgating he has always told us about.  A fun time was had by all, thanks to Terry & Lisa for watching Easton, we enjoyed our time away!! Great to know we have friends (family too) that enjoy our baby as much as we do!
