October

I can't believe it's already the middle of October! Mark's parents have been visiting this month, and leave tomorrow.  We've had a lot of fun, and I love how Easton is getting so familiar with them and their new place.  He loves to go visit, and knows right where his toy box is located.  At the beginning of this month, Costco opened in Sioux Falls.  Mark's parents are huge fans of the store, so insisted on getting us a membership for Christmas.  Our first visit was fast, Easton was more than excited to be in such a huge store with so many fun things to see and touch!  The picture below is a toy tha the found, and was not happy to have to leave at the store :(

Looks like he almost knows what do to, right?!?
We've had our share of ups and downs already this month.  Easton had an ear infection, again.  It's been draining now for a week. I am so tired of dealing with it, and I know he is too.  Aunt Cori did a great job of caring for him those first few days with it, but it just doesn't seem to be getting better. We are going to visit with Dr. Jensen on Tuesday, hopefully make the right decisions and get our little boy back to normal! I also got sick this week.  Strep Throat was my diagnosis.  It really kicked my butt!! I can't believe how terrible I felt.  Yes, my throat hurt, but the aches and pains that came along with it I thought maybe I had influenza or something.  Was glad that's all it was, and I'm already feeling better.  But after 3 days home sick, I hope so!!  During all that we also had something wrong with our furnace, so had no heat.  It seemed to be one thing after another.  Of course those couple of days without heat, were also days of rain.  It was cold, rainy and windy.  Good think we don't lack blankets in our household, they kept us warm along with some space heaters.  But thankfully our house is warm, and we're on the mend!  Here is a picture of Easton all bundled up for daycare, I just picked up some warmer jackets last weekend.  Perfect timing ;)

Mark leaves tomorrow for a weekend hunting trip.  It will just be me and Easton Saturday-Monday.  Good thing I know we can handle it :) Good luck Daddy, just please don't kill something that you think we need to mount!
Looking forward to Halloween, Easton will love the parade, and hopefully his costume :)
