We really should have taken before and after pictures so people could see all the work that Mark did! It took every Monday in February along with some weekends, and a little help from my parents. My Mom painted the dressers & desk, Mark painted the bedroom, and Dad painted the closet. And if you're thinking, "what did Cassie do"? Don't worry, I had to clean and organize all the junk we had to take out of the room to get it to this point :) I did help paint a little bit, and did a coat of stain on the bookshelf. My Uncle Bob made the book shelf for Easton. Easton loves his room, and loves to show it to people when they come over! His transition went so well, I don't think he even contemplated which room was his. He has slept through the night
every night since moving, and loves to play and read books in his room. We're very happy with how it turned out, and the only thing missing is handles on the dressers. Grandpa Radtke offered to take care of those for us, so when they come out next month, we're hoping to get those put on.
Both boys have nice closets, I'm glad we decided to paint them too!
Easton's reading corner. I framed his favorite book and a book of my Dad's from when he was little.
Chalkboard paint on the door, Easton just doesn't know it yet!
