Big Boy Room

Mark started priming the "big boy room" on Monday.  I've been patiently waiting for this weekend for him to finish that, and start painting! I am so excited to see this room come together, I've thought about working on it myself to get it done faster! But, if you know me I HATE painting!  But patience isn't one of my virtues.  I might work on the wallpaper this afternoon/evening.  Mark has a work event so won't be home till late.  The closet is wallpapered from like 1960, and needs some work.  Grandpa Gary, do you want to come visit and finish this mess? :)
I've been getting a lot of ideas off of Pinterest for Easton's room.  I'm not sure they will all pan out, but so far they've been pretty inexpensive.  My Mom has started painting the old bedroom furniture, and I can't wait to see the finished product.  The cordless roman shades came last week, I'm very excited about those!  Key word- cordless!!!! Easton will have a reading corner, that I know he'll love.  My Uncle Bob is building him a bookshelf.  Not sure yet if we'll paint or stain it, but looking forward to seeing that also.  The biggest factor here is getting the 2nd crib, mattress, and rocking chair paid off so it can all come together :) Come on tax return!!!
Still debating on double strollers.  So many people tell me to go the jogger route, but it's more expensive.  But they say the longevity of use beats out the other styles.  Then the choice of going long or wide?  Will I be mall shopping or street walking?  I think taking two kids to the mall by myself isn't in my near future plans anyways!!  3 months and counting :)
