Mean Molars

Since the middle of August, Easton hasn't been sleeping through the night.  We now realize how spoiled we were that he started that at only 2-3 months old! It started with a 3:30 AM wake up call, crying baby.  It wasn't to bad, you'd go pick him up, rock him back to sleep and lay him down. He sleep till almost 6:30 AM.  But then things got a little worse.  He was waking up around midnight, 3:30 AM, and sometime 5 AM!  With one feeding usually around 3:30 AM.  His first year molars are trying to make an appearance, and I'm sad to say they haven't come in yet!!  I knew it was his teeth when it started with fever, diarrhea, and fussy.  He was refusing his to eat, didn't want his bottle, and wasn't happy playing fo very long.  He'd be pushing a car around, and then all the sudden just lay on the floor and cry :(  Poor baby, he slept alot and loved to cuddle with his Momma! That part was nice, but I felt so sorry for him.  He is getting better, but still fights a fever every once in awhile and hasn't gotten back to sleeping through the night.  But hopefully they will break through soon, and we'll be back to normal :) After all, his Birthday is coming up, he deserves to feel his best!
Easton was moved to the 1 year old room at daycare on September 16th.  Much to my dismay, I think it was a good move.  I'm hopefull once he adjust to the new schedule, he will nap close to 2 hours a day.  In the baby room, he was lucky to get 45 minutes! This isn't like him, on the weekends when he's home, he takes a morning nap- 2 hours and usually a longer afternoon nap- 3-4.  I know he likes his sleep, so I feel bad when he doesn't get it.  His diet now consist of all table food.  There isn't anything yet that he doesn't like.  He's had eggs, and he's not allergic which is awesome.  I'm excited to try peanut butter, I think he will love it! Who doesn't?
Next up will be breaking him of his bottle and moving him to whole milk.  I'm making it a slow transition. I going to start mixing formula and milk after he's one.  As far as the bottle, he really doesn't care for it anymore.  Of course he likes it when it's time for bed or middle of the night.  I'm trying to push daycare to try for one bottle a day, but soon I know that will be gone also.  My baby is going to be a toddler, I guess I need to embrace it :)
Enjoy the pictures from this month.  With fall comes Football!  We love to cheer on our teams, and are really enjoying going to Central Lyon football games on Friday nights.  Easton loves it, all the kids love him! It's a nice social time for us and him!
