All in the name of St. Valentine

Chocolate, Red Roses, hearts, jewelry, greeting cards, teddy bears- did you receive any?  If so it's a sign that you are LOVED :) Mark and I exchanged greeting cards, I think we both decided the new treadmill we bought was our Valentine's Day gift to one another! Did you know that 190 million Valentine's are sent each year in the US? Back in the 1900's I guess they lowered the postage rate just because of all the greeting cards being sent.  Now I am a postmasters daughter, so I shouldn't be saying this, but notice this year they raised the postage rate just in time for Valetine's Day?  Sorry Dad ;)  So were you one of the 190 million, did you send a Valentine? Easton did :)

My parents always made it special day growing up.  We'd come down stairs in the morning to find a greeting card on the table and maybe a little present.   A sweet reminder that they loved us.  My parents have been sending their love to me for as long as I can remember, but this year Easton took the loot!  Which is ok, he's much sweeter than I am :)

Easton had two different photo shoots to get the perfect picture.  Not that they all weren't cute, but the "kisses" on his face were hard to replicate with the perfect lips! Hopefully you can tell that's what's on his forehead and not a bump or scrap!

Happy Valentine's Day :)
