Callen's 1st Birthday!

 I went with the construction theme, and it turned out great!  Megan was great help, I'm thankful she was there to help me with everything.  Callen loved the attention, the cake, and the presents! We had a house full of family, but Grandpa Albert was on a fishing trip.

Megan came out to celebrate Callen's Birthday, and we got to take a trip to the zoo right before!  Mark had to work, so it was just the 4 of us.  We had a great time, the kids really enjoyed it.

Parents only trip in pursuit!

My cousin Anna and I had talked about taking a trip together for a couple years, pretty much since our last one!  At first it was just a girl trip, but then we decided to take along our husbands :) We were lucky to score a condo on the beach FREE of charge!  Long story short, a family friend that my brother works for let us stay there! It was amazing, and I think I found my retirement spot.  I wish I could go back every year.  The sound of the ocean, the smell of the salt water, and the warmth of the sun and the sand between my toes was all I needed!  But we threw in some wonderful food, great company and of course shopping! It was awesome!!  Sarasota, Florida was beautiful I can't wait to go
back!

We got so burned the first day that the guys picked us up these beach pants! And we had to sit under the umbrella ;( But we still had a blast!

We were lucky enough to all be together to celebrate Mom's Birthday! We went to Spezia again this year.  And this time Cori was pregnant and not me :)

Easter Sunday

I had so much fun picking out the kids outfits this year! Hats and all.  We had a great day, it was beautiful.  We went to mass, had an Easter Egg hunt there, and then went to Grandma's house for lunch.  We ended the afternoon with another Easter Egg hunt and a quick trip to the lake.  It was very calm and beautiful.

We didn't let Callen dye eggs, I just don't think it would have went over well! So we did it when he was napping.  Easton and Daddy did them, they had a great time! Right, Mark?!?
