Splash Pad

My friend Andrea lives in Larchwood, and we heard they got a Splash Pad!  We went for a play date with Greeley & Winslow, and Easton had a great time!  It's so nice!!  He can sit and splash and I don't have to worry to much about him crawling into water that's too deep!  He loved all the fountains and the water was nice and warm :) We'll definetly go back! I know that Boyden has one too, and my friend Dana lives there.  Sounds like another play date in the near future :)

Grandpa's Birthday!

My parents had everyone over on Sunday to celebrate my Dad's Birthday! We had a great meal followed with ice cream and cake!  In the afternoon we had a water balloon fight.  My parents had Cam & Preston in the morning before dinner, and this was their game plan.  My Mom called me, warning me that whatever we wore, might get wet!  I wasn't excited to say the least, but we all had a good time.  I think Mark was my biggest enemy during this battle!  He seemed to have the best aim when it came to hitting me with water ballons :)  But back inside we went, the heat and the nats are two things you don't want to mess with this summer!!

Mommy's Photo Shoot- 9.5 mths old

I took these photos because he looked so darn cute! I had him dressed up for church, and the outside landscaping was in full bloom.  I can remember a photo of my brother, Caleb sitting in the plants outside of our house.  It's always been a picture I loved of him! So that's where I got the idea. 

I'm glad I got this on video.  Easton started crawling like a Gorilla!  It makes me laugh everytime I see him :) Too cute, he'll be walking before we know it!

I can still remember when Cori sent me a video of Cameron doing this! He doesn't walk without the assistance of his toy, but moves right along with it!  Walking is coming, very soon!

Happy 4th of July!

We had a great time camping at Lake Pahoja! Easton enjoyed all the time spent outdoors, and the attention he received from everyone!  We went to the parade in Inwood, which was a first for all of us!  It was nice to be at a parade that I wasn't participating in!  Easton wasn't so sure at first, the sirens and gun shots were kind of scary, but he adjusted well.  Campfires, smores, beach time, and lots of walks- it was all great!

Beach Baby

Because I have so many pictures to share from our weekend of camping, I thought I'd make a post just for the beach! Easton loved the water!  I have to get some pictures from Sandy, she had some of him playing with trucks with the boys in the sand.  He had a great time!

First Camping Trip

A big THANKS goes to Todd & Stacy for letting us use their camper this weekend!

We brought the camper out to Lake Pahoja on Monday, June 24th to secure a spot for the 4th of July.  We got one, and were actually able to enjoy a night this past weekend.  We camped for the first time as a famly on Sunday night.  It went pretty well.  Easton slept through the night, but had a hard time napping.  We came home on Monday afternoon, but we are excited to head back tonight-Sunday.  Wish us luck, have a safe & Happy 4th of July everyone!
